Peter Back established Peter Back and Associates in August 1991, latterly taking the trading name of PBA Consulting. In August 2007 the company became incorporated and now trades as PBA Structural Consulting Ltd. Peter Back is a Chartered Structural Engineer with extensive experience in new build design schemes, insurance claims, general survey work and latterly expert witness commissions.

The Practice has expanded steadily and consistently since its formation and now consists of 15 staff with a wide variety of skills and many years experience.

The operational area extends throughout South of England including Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Dorset and the inner and outer London districts.

The Practice holds Professional Indemnity Insurance cover in the sum of £5,000,000.

The Practice operates formal Quality Assurance management meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2000. Certification was obtained in 2002.
